San Vito Chietino
San Vito Chietino, a small tourist town in the province of Chieti and place where the famous poet Gabriele D’Annunzio lived, is now a renowned holiday destination. This beautiful location boasts a unique and suggestive attraction: “La Costa dei Trabocchi”, enormous platforms made of wood that stand in the middle of the sea; they seem big spiders and were used by the fishermen as platforms for fishing until few years ago.
