Details
The village is located in the Cilento and Vallo di Diano Nature Park. It occupies nearly five hectares of hillside, completely covered with ancient olive trees, various other species of tree and meadows, which create a natural fresh relaxing environment far from the oppressive heat, but a stone's throw from sea. It is also close to Marina di Camerota, which has craftsman's workshops, a tourist port and beaches, and still conserves the characteristics of the fishing village it once was.
The village facilities provide all the services a solicitous, nature loving tourists could desire.

The coast around Marina di Camerota is one of the most beautiful in Italy and, perhaps, one of the least well known, since many parts are inaccessible from the land and can only be reached by sea. It satisfies all tastes and needs, ranging from those of children and nature lovers to those of scuba-diving enthusiasts: it is sandy, pebbly, high and steep, and occasionally holds great surprises.
The sea has always been clean due to the complete absence of industrial areas, and even towns on the south coast right up to Scario on the way to the Golfo di Policastro. Furthermore, a recent environmental protection campaign has considerably improved the situation along the north coast too, so much so that it has been awarded the "European Blue Flag" and "Cinque Vele" (Five Sails) by Lega Ambiente (an Italian ecologist movement).
The most renowned locations you will be able to appreciate if you decide to stay with us and whose names will become familiar to you and bring to mind bygone times and faraway places are: Porto Infreschi, Spiagge di Pozzallo, Cala Bianca, Cala Monte di Luna, Cala Fortuna, Spiaggia del Marcellino, Grotte delle Noglie, Grotta delle Monache, Grotta del Pozzallo, etc., and, in the direction of Palinuro, Grotta delle Ossa, Spiaggia del Buon Dormire, Grotta Azzurra, Cala Fetente, Spiaggia di Capogrosso, Cala d'arconte, Porticello, etc.

Not just nature. We at Green Village not only think of your comfort, relaxation, the beauty of the location and the unspoilt surroundings, but also your fun - without forcing things. You are totally free to choose between a tourist holiday, a quiet break in your chalet surrounded by the green countryside, or active participation in the events we organize in our completely self-sufficient village.
If you decide to have fun, the choice and variety is extremely tempting...

The management organizes three types of fascinating excursion throughout the season. From the archaeological and artistic points of view, the choice of towns and sites to visit in the neighbourhood - perhaps taking advantage of one of those infrequent slightly cloudy days or simply to break up a seaside routine - is extremely varied: the famous archaeological excavations of Paestum, with its well-stocked museum; the ancient medieval village of S. Severino di Centola, abandoned in the nineteenth century and therefore unaltered by time, apart from the houses whose insides have been torn out by the movements of the underlying land; Padula, in the Vallo di Diano, where the splendid Carthusian monastery of S. Lorenzo is found, rich in fine works of art and itself architecturally impressive; and Teggiano, again in the Vallo di Diano, with its interesting medieval town centre and beautiful recently restored castle.
