Suviana Camping offers you a tent campsite, a camper-caravan area and accomodation in the hostel.
It's situated in the Tosco-Emiliano apennine, on Suviana lake.
It's close to Florence, Prato, Pistoia, and Bologna.
Nature, relaxing environment, pure air and the so many activities offered by the lake and sorroundings are our strong points.

The Camping

Suviana Camping is situated in Emilia-Romagna, in the province of Bologna, within a regional park, at 450 m above sea level, only 2 km from the border with Tuscany and about half a way between Bologna and Florence.

Our camping is a small, brandnew and peaceful resort surrounded by a nature in full bloom.
At close proximity of the lake, in a chestnut, beech and pine wood, in a typical apennine environment, and ideal for visiting Florence, Prato, Pistoia, Lucca, Vinci (Leonardo's birthplace) and Bologna.
The Hostel
-Accomodation for 16 people
-Reception, playroom and tv room
-Two groups of modern and functional sanitary facilities and a disabled sanitary unit, all with free hot water
-Meals are served comfortably in the restaurant
The Bar-Restaurant
Between the lake and the mountains, our restaurant offers a traditionally appennine cuisine.

-You can eat or simply have a drink indoors or in the great terrace
-The bar is open all day and offers coffee, tea, aperitives, sandwiches, icecreams, etc.

Activities
-We are in the heart of the 'Appennino Tosco-Emiliano', near Bologna (60 km), Florence (60 km), Lucca, Prato, Pistoia, Vinci, in the green heart of a regional park (Parco Regionale dei Laghi di Suviana e Brasimone).

-Because we are near antic little towns, it's possible to do short visits to discover history and nature's places.

-In the lake it's possible to swim, to fish, or simply catch the sun, and practice all types of water sports unless motor ones:canoeing, windsurfing, ecc. You can park your canoe in the camping.

-In the park around us you can make walks or bike through well-kept paths. We rent bikes and provide trekking path maps.

-You can make a pic-nic or barbecue in appropriate public areas.

-In summer almost every day there are traditionally events in towns near the camping.

-As we are in a regional park there are a lot of activities for adults and children related to nature and organized by park's experts.
