Camping Village LAGO MAGGIORE will welcome you in Dormelletto, on the south-western coast of Lake Maggiore, 3 km. from the pretty town of Arona and into the charm of the lake, with its numerous possibilities of amusement, sport and culture.

Immersed in a rich and well-kept vegetation, in a peaceful position, with direct access to a wide and equipped beach, with the lake where bathing is permitted, with the 2 swimming pools and with the high quality of services, our Village ensures an ideal stay for the family looking for a serenity holiday rich of amusement thanks to our animation staff.

You will find 290 pitches, shady and bordered by hedges, provided with light plugs: 200 pitches are haunted by Italian guests, 90 pitches are reserved to foreign tourists for their holidays in Italy. Comfortable maxi caravans and brick-houses, all with wide gardens and private parkings. In our new Residence Alice just inside the Village you will find 42 wide 1 room, 2 rooms and 3 rooms apartments, up-to-date furnished and well equipped for living in the open air. With all these things the Village offers you an Italian welcome atmosphere joined to an organization ready to satisfy the wishes of our foreign guests.

Just outside the Village you will find the most developed business area of the Lake, with its shops, discos, bowlings, cinemas, pubs, typical restaurants and business centres which wait for you to amuse and to make your holiday on the lake unforgettable....

Leaving from our Camping Village it is possible to reach easily, by car or by boat, all the locations along the coast:

Arona with its famous statue of San Carlone, the romantic promenade and its shops; the elegant town of Stresa, with Villa Pallavicino and Villa Ducale; the castle of Angera (with inside the Doll Museum); the green Pallanza with the botanical gardens of Villa Taranto and Villa San Remigio; the Borromean Islands (in front of Stresa) with the magnificent Borromean terrace-gardens; the castles of Cannero Riviera, near the Switzerland border; the town of Baveno with Villa Branca; Pombia (10 minutes far from our Camping-Village) with its adventurous Safari Park for children and adults.

And even more…….the little Romanesque churches , the villas in Liberty style, the wet docks, the sanctuaries, the famous cities of northern Italy (Milan, Turin and Novara are easy to reach from our Camping-Village with a journey that brings you from half an hour till 2 hours).

The possibilities are many: water-skiing, a trip by sailing-boat along the sheer shores that shelter the sanctuary of Santa Caterina del Sasso, rowing, surfing and swimming, the exclusive golf places and the thrilling routes for mountain-bike and trekking in the neighbouring hills, rafting and fishing...

We are a few kilometres far from Valgrande Natural Park and just one kilometre far from Lagoni Park in Mercurago, with inside interesting routes for bikes or walking through horse-farms.

Days as climbers on Monte Rosa Glaciers or days walking in relax through Alpe Veglia and the green Val Vigezzo (the Painters Valley) and Val Formazza with its evocative Toce Falls.
